On the first day of school, first graders learned about what it takes to be successful in first grade. Our little chefs in the making were able to put together the ingredients to make the "Recipe of Success in first grade." The traits that we talked about on the first day carried throughout the week as we learned about first grade rules, procedures and even began practicing first grade concepts. It was a busy, whirlwind of a week. I'm exhausted and I'm sure your children are even more tired, but I couldn't have asked for a better first week of school. Each child's personality is starting to come out and I am excited to spend an entire year learning about them. I can't wait for next week!
